Marwari Yuva Manch Bangalore Stars successfully organized the second blood donation camp of the 13th Executive Committee at Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, Jigani, Bangalore, in collaboration with Narayana Hrudayalaya.
This was the branch’s first camp under the declared “June – Blood Donation Month,” the “Blood Donation Campaign – Asha Ki Boond (Drop of Hope),” and the National Project Blood Donation Festival Fortnight.
The main objective of the ‘Asha Ki Boond’ campaign is to help meet the year-round shortage of blood so that life-saving blood is available on time to patients in need.
A total of 239 units of blood were collected in this camp, of which 50% of donors were young women and ladies. Youth, young women, teachers (male and female), and support staff also donated blood, fulfilling their duty in the service of humanity.
Padma Vibhushan Shri Nagendra, Chancellor of the Yoga Research Institute, thanked the Marwari Yuva Manch Stars branch and honored the present executive committee members.
