The Hon’ble Minister of Transport, Government of Karnataka and MLA, Shri Ramalinga Reddy, along with Koramangala Ward Corporator Shri M. Chandrappa, inaugurated a grand 2-in-1 service initiative organized by Marwari Yuva Manch, Bangalore Stars at the Koramangala BMTC Depot.
In his address, the Minister appreciated the spirit of social service shown by the Babulal Gupta Foundation and Marwari Yuva Manch, Bangalore Stars, noting that such initiatives form the foundation for positive social change and serve as an inspiration to the youth.
Nearly 800–900 bus drivers and support staff work at this depot every day. The program encompassed two major national service projects:
Amritdhara – “Water is Life” (8th Service)
With the generous support of the Babulal Gupta Foundation, a state-of-the-art Mega RO Unit with a 500-litre capacity was installed in the depot premises. This marks the 8th service under the Amritdhara campaign, benefiting all BMTC employees daily.Ann Seva – “Contentment through Service”
As part of the Seva Se Santosh initiative, Bangalore Stars organized a food distribution drive, serving meals to around 400 people. Several members of the Manch, along with their families, actively participated in this noble cause.The event was graced by the presence of former presidents Anand Agarwal and Rishabh Sarraf, Provincial Amritdhara Coordinator Gaurang Gupta, and most members of the 2025–26 Executive Committee, who all played an active role.
Program Coordinators – Deepa Choudhary and Abhinav Dokania extended heartfelt gratitude to the BMTC officials for giving the Manch this opportunity to serve in such a meaningful and impactful way.
This 2-in-1 service initiative, powered by the support of the Babulal Gupta Foundation and successfully organized by Marwari Yuva Manch, Bangalore Stars, not only brought relief to the lives of BMTC employees but also spread a living message of service, cooperation, and dedication across society.
