Marwari Yuva Manch, Bangalore Stars joyfully celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day today at the Government Secondary School, Gottigere, Bangalore. On this occasion, around 370 students of the school participated with great enthusiasm.
As part of its campaign “Anand Sabke Liye” (Joy for All), the Manch carried out a service initiative called “Vidya Vandan: Education for All”, under which study tables attached to benches were donated to the students. This was aimed at helping them study in a more comfortable and organized environment. The initiative filled the school campus with joy and excitement.
The program began with a flag hoisting ceremony jointly conducted by Mr. Ashish Fitkariwala, President of the Manch, and Mr. Srinivas, Principal of the school. On this occasion, the students decorated the campus with colorful rangoli and a multicolored salt art map of India, beautifully showcasing patriotism. After the flag hoisting, the newly donated benches were officially handed over to the school administration by the Manch.
Following this, the students presented captivating cultural performances on patriotic themes, in which members of the Manch and their families also actively participated.
The program concluded with the distribution of sweets and snacks by the Manch to all students and the school’s administrative staff.
